SOT- KITTY HIGGIN GS: As far as the aircraft goes we've got plans under wayto remove the aircraft tomorrow mornin g. Ah, they're out there now riggin g theplane. The effort we'd hope to be able to do more today. But as you now theweather conditions are not the most favorable. The effort has been affectedby the strong current which has really limited the amount of dive time thatwe've had that divers could only be in the water for a certain amount oftime.Ah, so they're workin g tonight really I thin k until midnight, to rig that aircraft so that it could be hauled out tomorrow mornin g. Ah, we hope to begin that lift by about ten o'clock tomorrow mornin g. CAMERA SHAKES A BIT. Ah,the plan is to lift that plane to put it on a barge and to secure it on that bargeand then we will remove the recorders. We had made an effort to try and seeif we could remove the recorders while the plane was still in the water, andthat has not been possible, for some of the reasons that I mentioned. Ah, oncethe recorders are removed we will document the damage to the plane. There'sobviously there is some damage that we can see already. Ah, but there's alot of damage that's not visible at this poin t. We will want to do that whilethe plane is on the barge and once it's been secured. And then we will move theaircraft to a secure location for further in vestigation.7.
